Accessibility statement for LV Compass
1. Compliance status
LV Compass is partially compliant with EN 301 549 (section 11, mobile applications) and the German BITV 2.0, based on a self-assessment by the vendor. No audit by an independent testing body has taken place so far.
2. What is implemented
- All buttons and menu items carry readable names; list rows pass their whole content to the screen reader, including the expanded or collapsed state instead of the arrow glyphs.
- All bundled colour schemes reach at least 4.5:1 for body text (measured: 4.6:1 to 21:1); users who pick their own colours are warned when the contrast drops below 4.5:1.
- All texts follow the system font size; at 200 % the project list, the bill of quantities, the settings and the licence page stay readable and reachable.
- Every tappable row or button is at least 48 dp high; portrait and landscape are both supported; no time limits, no flashing content.
3. Non-accessible content
- The app displays third-party files (GAEB, ÖNORM, Excel, CSV). How well a long text can be read aloud depends on the source file; tables, indentation or abbreviations inside it cannot be made accessible by the app.
- No report from an independent testing body and no test involving people with disabilities is available yet; a complete TalkBack walkthrough has not been recorded by the vendor.
- Self-chosen colours may fall below the recommended contrast. The app warns but does not prevent it.
4. Feedback and contact
Please report accessibility problems to info@geier-it.eu or +49 (0) 152 042 02 892. Replies are usually sent within two weeks; barriers that can be fixed in the app are addressed in the next update.
